Pasture Raised Eggs
Our hens spend their days roaming our paddocks on our farm outside Kyneton. They scratch and forage as they wish, enjoying pasture, worms and grubs. We supplement their feed with non-GMO grain. We then collect the eggs by hand twice a day.
Hens are moved every few days for fresh pasture and to enrich the soil. The chickens can eat, dust bathe, drink water or explore as they wish.
The eggs are bursting in flavour, nutrition and colour. No antibiotics or growth hormones, no herbicides or pesticides. And buying direct from the farmer means eggs are super fresh, with yolks that hold firm when poaching.
To keep our hens safe we have Maramma guardian dogs. They instinctively guard the hens.
Small farms, humane and thoughtful regenerative farming practices really make a difference.
Buying our eggs
We supply cafes and restaurants throughout Central Victoria. You’ll also find our eggs at many farmers markets, and we sell direct to customers.
